The government has reconstituted the board of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, making Mustafa Kamal Uddin, the former senior secretary of the public security department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, as the new chairman for 2023.
However, all the other members of the board of directors remained unchanged. The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism announced the formation of the board and its members on Sunday through a circular signed by Deputy Secretary Abdul Awal. On August 25, 2017, Mustafa Kamal Uddin became the secretary of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs. He retired from the service on January 12.
Earlier, Sajjadul Hassan served as the chairman of the national flag carrier. He was the former senior secretary of the Prime Minister's Office.
