Abul Kalam Azad best SI in Dhaka district

Keraniganj Model Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Abul Kalam Azad was awarded as the best SI and officer in Dhaka district in recognition of his professional excellence in development of overall law and order, recovering drugs, arrest of notorious criminals and uncovering information in clueless important cases.  

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police in Dhaka range Syed Nurul Islam BPM (Bar), PPM announced his name as the best sub-inspector (SI) in Dhaka district in a ceremony held at DIG conference room in the capital on February 20 (Monday) and handed over the prize and certificate to SI Azad.    

It was learnt that SI Azad earned a good reputation by performing his duty with devotion. As a result, he was selected as the best SI in Dhaka district.    

He was selected as the best SI by Dhaka range DIG for his overall work activity and significant contribution in maintaining law and order and suppressing crime.  

In this regard, SI Md Abul Kalam Azad said, “This honor is not only for me, it belongs to all the policemen of the police station. Credit goes to Additional Superintendent of Police (Keraniganj circle) Md Shahabuddin Kabir sir along with Keraniganj Model Police Station Officer-in charge, who provided me all-out support in unraveling the mystery of the clue-less cases and providing the most important direction in recovering the looted goods.”  

People of different classes and professions of the upazila congratulated him on this unprecedented success.
