Daudkandi moving forward under UP chairman, UNO's leadership

 
Cumilla's Daudkandi upazila is heading towards the path of development under the leadership of Upazila Parishad Chairman Major (retd) Mohammad Ali Sumon and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Mohinul Hasan.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Major (retd) Sumon has long been known as a people-friendly UP Chairman. According to sources, he has risked his life during the corona period to work for the people of this area.  As a result, he was awarded as the 'best upazila chairman' in Chattogram.

Major (retd) Sumon has also received the best public representative award from Channel I, a well-established media organization of the country. During any disaster or natural calamities, he works from the front to provide services to the residents of the upazila.

He has been delivering the public service to the doorsteps of the people by performing his duties as the chairman of the Upazila Parishad for the two consecutive terms. Due to his visionary leadership qualities and as a humanitarian public representative, he has managed to secure a place on the hearts of the locals. On the other hand, since the joining of UNO Md Mohinul Hasan in the upazila, various developmental activities of the government through on-the-ground supervision are being transparently and orderly implemented.

The UNO has also won the hearts of the people of this area with through his humble behavior and official services. The common people of the upazila expressed great satisfaction with his sincerity and official services. Meanwhile, Daudkandi upazila Awami Muktijoddha Projonmo League Md Sohel Rana has posted a status on his own Facebook wall expressing his satisfaction with the activities of people-friendly UNO Md Mohinul Hasan.
In addition, Daudkandi Adarsha Pilot High School's Headmaster Jasimuddin Ahmed was also impressed with the official services and sincerity of UNO Mohinul and posted such status on his own Facebook wall.

The upazila parishad chairman and UNO are working unitedly with the all development activities of the current government and taking Daudkandi forward at the directive of Major General (retd) Shubid Ali Bhuiyan MP, the founder of modern Daudkandi-Meghna.

In the upazila, all infrastructural development works including roads, bridges and culverts have been done unimaginably. Poverty has been reduced in the upazila through 100% electrification and construction of houses for the homeless. Healthcare sector is also much more satisfactory than before.
Overall, becoming an ideal upazila is just a matter of time. However, the UP Chairman and UNO are working tirelessly to make this upazila as an ideal upazila very quickly.
