Fashion designer Naharin Chowdhury gets BIFA Award

 
Bangladeshi fashion designer and Teacher Naharin Chowdhury has been awarded BIFA Award for her outstanding teaching performance in design sector of Bangladesh.

Fashion designer and teacher Naharin Chowdhury awarded at a programme titled 'Bangladesh international film award 2023' held in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Bangabandhu International Conference Center, hall of fame in the capital on Saturday.

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid was present in the program as the chief guest, Md. Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru MP, State Minister of the Ministry of Social Welfare inaugurated the program while Dr. A. K. M. Jamal Uddin, president of Muktijuddho Moncho and Professor of Dhaka university, Department of Sociology was in the chair. Fashion designer and teacher Naharin Chowdhury told on award, "I am very happy."  Feeling honoured as well.  Giving honours means encouraging woman in their work.  This also inspired me to go ahead and to do hard work. I dedicate this award to all my students and y teachers." Naharin Chowdhury performing her duty as a  head of operation and innovation at OCODE by energypac, also she is a lecturer at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology.
