Saudi Navy Chief meets CNS

 
Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily, Chief of Staff of Royal Saudi Navy arrived in Dhaka on Monday on a four-day official visit. He paid a courtesy call on Chief of Staff of Bangladesh Navy (CNS) Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal at the Naval Headquarters on Monday.

A smart naval team accorded guard of honour to the Saudi Naval Chief as he arrived in Navy Headquarters. Earlier on Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily placed flowers at Shikha Anirban and paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War of 1971. He also signed in the inspection book.

Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily placed flowers at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32. During his tour, the Saudi Naval Chief is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister's Military Adviser and Chief of Staff of Bangladesh Army and Chief of Staff of Bangladesh Air Force. Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily will leave Dhaka on 8 March.
