Notorious robber nabbed in Sarail, stolen gold ornaments seized
Police arrested a notorious robber and seized gold ornaments from his possession in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria district on Wednesday (March 15).
Sources said, police personnel from Sarail police station arrested Asadullah alias Kawser Mia (37), son of Tajul Islam, a resident of Ranidia village under the upazila, from Annada intersection at upazila headquarters while he was traveling by a private car.
Stolen gold ornaments weighing two bhoris and five anas were seized from his possession, sources added.
Sarail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Aslam Hossain said, "Robber Asadullah was arrested with stolen gold ornaments from Annada intersection. There are several cases against him with Sarail police station. He has been sent to the court."
