UK professor meets DU VC

 
Prof. Dr.  David C. Aldridge of the University of Cambridge, UK called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on Thursday (April 13, 2023) at the latter's office of the university.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programs between the University of Dhaka and the University of Cambridge, according to a press release.

The Vice-Chancellor stressed the need for undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs among different universities across the world to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.

He thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic and research activities.
Later, Prof. Dr. David C. Aldridge delivered a lecture at a seminar on 'Aquatic Ecological Research: Global Perspectives' at the Department of Zoology of DU.
