Mohera Zamindar Bari is one of the major tourist attractions in Tangail which is located close to Dhaka city. Mohera Zamindar Bari is known as the largest and most beautiful Zamindar Bari in Bangladesh. It has a history of over 200 years.
Mohera Zamindar Bari is located around 4 kilometers away from Natiapara bus stand on Dhaka-Tangail highway. Mohera Zamindar Bari is the most popular heritage site in Tangail.
The walls of Mohera Zamindar Bari are still glittering. It was constructed even before 1890 AD.
It is widely said that this Zamindar Bari is built according to the architecture of Cordova city of Spain. Two brothers named Kali Charan Saha and Ananda Saha built this house on 1, 174 decimals of land.
Kali Charan Lodge is the most impressive hall of this Zamindar Bari. There are gardens, children's park and different artificial establishments inside the Zamindar Bari.
It looks like a dreamland with birds and ponds. Chowdhury Lodge is another part of the Zamindar Bari. Tangail Police Training Center is located on the opposite side of Mohera Zamindar Bari.
