Ambassador Zahangir Alam obtains PhD

 
On 16 June 2023, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan with concurrent accreditation to Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Afghanistan Md Zahangir Alam was awarded PhD Degree as External Researcher from University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The topic of his thesis is "Factors Affecting the Adoption of Technology-Driven International Trade: Asian Context". All 10 members of Scientific Council unanimously in a secret ballot voted "pro" in favour of awarding him the degree of PhD.

The Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Deputy Speaker of  Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of Uzbekistan Sodiq Safoyev, Vice-Rectors, Professors from UWED and Professors of other prominent universities in Central Asian Region were present during the defense stage as Scientific Council's members.
