UAP arranged a special seminar on “OBE Implementation and BAETE Accreditation"

The IQAC and School of Engineering, University of Asia Pacific(UAP) organized a two day special seminar session on “OBE Implementation andBAETE Accreditation in Engineering Programs:  Expectations, Practices andProcesses” on 27^th July & 03^rd August, 2023at the UAP Auditorium.

Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor, UAP chaired theentire seminar while Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, Member, University GrantsCommission joined the inaugural session and Professor Dr. MesbahuddinAhmed, Chairman, Bangladesh Accreditation Council joined the closingsession as Chief Guests.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice Chancellor, Ahsanullah Universityof Science & Technology; Professor Dr. M. M. ShahidulHassan, Vice Chancellor, East West University; Dr. Mohammed Alauddin,Chairperson, Board of Trustees, UAP; Professor Dr. A.F.M. Saiful Amin,Chairman, Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education joinedthe program as special guest.

Professor Dr. Arshad M. Chowdhury, Vice Chairman, QualityAssurance Committee, BAETE discussed on ‘Assessment and Attainment ofOutcomes’. Professor Dr. Anisul Haque, Board Member, BAETE discussed on‘Teaching Learning and Assessment in the Affective Domain’.

Professor Dr. Kazi Bayzid Kabir, Member Secretary,BAETE discussed the ‘Official Administrative Process of Accreditation’. ProfessorDr. Salekul Islam, Evaluator Assessment Committee Chair,BAETE discussed on ‘Preparation for BAETE Accreditation’. Professor Dr.Md. Tarek Uddin, Sectoral Committee Chair, BAETE discussed on ‘Preparationof Self-Assessment Report (SAR)’.

The objective of this seminar is to increase the exposure andvisibility of UAP with the accreditation authority and pioneering programs.

Among others, all the deans heads of other departments of UAP,Directors of IQAC of different Public and Private Universities, IAP members& Alumnus of all engineering departments, all the faculty members of theSchool of Engineering, UAP; and officials of IQAC joined the seminar.
