Comilla University secures 10th position in UGC's APA evaluation

 
Comilla University (CoU) has secured 10th position among 100 universalities in the evaluation of University Grant Commission's Annual Performance Agreement for the fiscal year 2022-23.

The information has been revealed on Thursday through a report signed by Dr Ferdous Zaman, secretary of University Grant Commission (UGC). When Comilla University Vice Chancellor Dr AFM Abdul Moyeen took the charge of the university, the university was in the 50th spot in the fiscal year 2020-21. In the fiscal year 2021-22, the university has made progress in the APA evaluation as it has secured 23rd position in the list among 100 universities. Now, the university has made a significant progress as it has secured 10th position in the list. When talking about the progress of the university, Comilla University VC Dr AFM Abdul Moyeen said, "This is a huge achievement for us."

He thanked all the teachers, students and employees for making contributions to achieve this milestone. 

"I want to see this university in top. If we continue our efforts in this way, we can surely achieve it", he believed.  He urged all to maintain friendly and peaceful environment in the campus of the university so that quality education, progress in teaching method and research can be ensured.
