Bogura 4-APBn seize drug peddler with 500 Ample injections

 
Members of 4-Armed Police Battalion (APBn) of Bogura have seized at least 500 pieces of ample injections from a female narcotic peddler and arrested her at Dhin Rahabal area under Shibganj upazila of Bogura on Wednesday night.

The arrested peddler was identified as Nasima Begum, 35, daughter of late Rahim Uddin Mondal and wife of Md Faruk of Gor Fatepur area under Sonatola upazila of Bogura district.

With the time-framed direction of the Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-APBN (Addl. DIG) Md. Abdur Razzak, the drives have been conducted in the 16 districts of the northern part of the country as part of ensuring security, anti-drug and anti-smuggling combating of 4-APBN, Bogura and so far many successful drives have been initiated in the northern part of the country. A team of APBN personnel led by Inspector (unarmed) Sanower Hossain, conducted the drive in the location of Bogura district and seized 500 pieces of ample tablets worth at Tk. 1 lakh and 50 thousand and arrested the peddler from the same location.

Under the direction of Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-APBn, Bogura , Assistant CO (SP of Police) Mahfuz Afzal, Additional SP Taposh Sarkar and Senior ASP Khalequzzaman ppm were also aware of the impending danger comes ahead.

A case was lodged with Shibganj police station in this connection. Later, she was sent to jail through a court.
