Big contingent of Bangladesh reach Hangzhou

 
A large number of athletes of Bangladesh contingent reached Hangzhou on Tuesday to take part in the 19th Asian Games scheduled to be held from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou.

The Bangladesh contingent included women's football, men's hockey and shooting team. There are twenty six players in the women's football team, twenty two players of hockey and twenty one players and officials of shooting team included in the contingent.

Women's football and hockey events will begin from September 22 while shooting disciplines will commence from September 24. Syed Shahed Reza, the secretary general of the Olympic Association, accompanied the athletes on the same day.

Earlier, on Saturday last, the Olympic men's football team as the first batch reached China.
