Joyramkura Hospital in Haluaghat of Mymensingh has been providing better healthcare services to indigenous and poor people living in the upazila for a long time with reputation.
During a ground visit in the hospital on Monday, it has been found that there are eight labs for performing tests of the patients. Thought the hospital is 50-bedded but a total of more 20 wards for children, 40 wards for pregnant women, 25 wards for male patients and 20 wards for other patients have been set up due the rush of patients in the hospital.
There are separate rooms for vaccination mother and children and eight physicians in the hospital.
Many patients with fatal diseases from various districts come to the hospital for taking better treatment.
While talking to the patients, they expressed satisfaction over the healthcare services provided in the hospital. Joyramkura Hospital Executive Director Tarun Daring, Medical Superintendent and Consultant Dr Lucy Daring and Finance Manager Ankur Bhowmik were present on the occasion.
To mention, Joyramkura Hospital has been conducting various programs to raise awareness about health among people of the area.
