Administrative official again appointed SPARRSO Chairman

 
Once again an official from the BCS Administration Cadre has been appointed in the post of Chairman of Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO). Additional Secretary of Primary and Mass Education Ministry Md. Rashidul Islam has been appointed in the Chairman post SPARRSO. A gazette notification by Ministry of Public Administration was issued to this end last week.

Confabulations on the Chairman post of SPARRSO began after India sent a spaceship to the moon. At that time Additional Secretary Md. Abdus Samad held the Chairman post of SPARRSO who was an agriculturist. This matter was criticized and trolled on social media at that time.

Abdus Samad was transferred to Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat on 5 September 2023 but he did not join this post. Abdus Samad was later on appointed in the Health Services Division as an Additional Secretary around one week ago.
