Popular actress Humaira Himu dies
 
Popular actress Humaira Himu reportedly died by suicide at her residence, as confirmed by Actors Equity Guild President and fellow actor Ahsan Habib Nasim. Himu was brought into the Uttara Bangladesh Medical College (UAMC) around 3:30 PM on Thursday and upon inspection, the on-duty doctor of the hospital declared her dead, informed Nasim.

Humaira Himu was born in Lakshmipur district on 23 November 1985. She spent her childhood in Lakshmipur she initiated her acting journey in the theatre industry in 2006 and ventured into television with the series "Chayabithi." She showcased her acting prowess in well-known TV productions such as "Bari Bari Sari Sari," "Housefull," "Gulshan Avenue," "Sonaghat," "Chairman Bari," "Batighar," and "Shonena Sey Shonena."

However, she gained widespread acclaim and fame through her debut film, "Amar Bondhu Rashed," directed by Morshedul Islam. In recent years, Humaira had focused more on television and was planning a comeback after a hiatus. Her  sudden demise has left the entertainment industry and her fans in shock.
