Photo journalists' platform named Portrait organized on November 17 and 18 the 8th Photographic Carnival in Cox's Bazaar.

The portrait office bearers awarded three photo journalists for their immense contribution to the realm of photo journalism at home and abroad. The awarded journalists were Bangladesh Journalist Association former President and NTV Director Nuruddin Ahmed, Narayanganj Photography Association's Adviser Kashem Jamal and popular photo journalist in Commilla Shahjahan Chowdhury. After receiving award, they said the role played during 34 years by them in photography and cultural wings would give impetus to promote these sectors in the days to come.

On the occasion, Portrait Adviser Piyush Talukder, News24 Executive Director Mithun Datta, Photografic Society of Chattogram Basab Shil, Narayanganj Photo graphic Society Convener Aminul Hoque Nipu, K U Masud Habibur Rahman Mithu, Photographer of Potuakhali M A Bashar and HJabibur Rahman Shyamol delivered their speech.

The function was presided over by Carnival Cnvener, Bangladesh Photo Journalist Association former President and Bangladesh Photography Society former President Bulbul Ahmed and Portrait Director Rupam Chakraborty moderated the function.
