‘Land-related allegations to be solved with highest efficiency’
Land Secretary Khalilur Rahman has said land-related citizen complaints and queries from various sources will be solved with highest efficiency quickly. He came up with the remarks at the ministry concerned conference room on Sunday while addressing a workshop on “Formulation of Land-Related Allegations Management Guidelines”.

He further said “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ) would be made and published online and in print media along with solutions and answers through taking important parts from citizen complaints and subject-based questions received from various media. From the FAQ the citizen would be able to get answers of many questions as well as enriched with knowledge about land, he added.

Khalilur Rahman, however, mentioned that the government already has taken various fruitful steps to combat corruption in land services including adoption of open data governance, establishment of time limits for settling cases, mandatory accounting of property of land officials and implementation of allegation disposal management.

Moreover, citizens are reporting their land related complaints and seeking information on various land-related issues through different channels including citizen service centre, 16122/333 hotline, Cabinet Division complaints disposal system, social media platform, direct query management, Whats App, email andother direct channels, the Secretary stated.

In addition, due to no central coordination of one system with the other we are going to take initiatives to adopt speedy resolution, Khalillur Rahman further said.

Higher officials of the Land Ministry participated in the workshop among others.
