The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced the ticket prices for the 10th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), set to kick off on January 19 in Dhaka.

Tickets are available for the fans at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, and the ticket-selling counter adjacent to Gate-1 of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur-2 (near the Academy Ground).

A grand stand ticket will cost Tk 2,500, while each ticket for the VIP stand, club house, north and south stand, and eastern stand will cost Tk 1,500, Tk 800, Tk 400, and Tk 200, respectively

Ticket sales commencedfrom Tuesday, starting at 9:30 am and continuing until 8:00 pm.

After the initial Dhaka phase, the tournament will move to Sylhet, return to Dhaka again, and then travel to Chattogram, culminating in the final phase back in Dhaka. The ticket prices for the subsequent phases will be disclosed at a later date.

A total of seven teams are participating in this year's BPL. There was speculation of increasing the number of the teams, but that did not materialize.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the revised schedule for the opening match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The day matches, previously scheduled to start at 2 pm and the night matches at 7 pm, have been delayed by half an hour each, with the new schedule being 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM, respectively.

Each innings will run for one and a half hours, with a 20-minute break after the first innings. The second innings is expected to start at around 4:20 PM
While the shadow of past mismanagement allegations lingers, a beacon of hope shines - the BPL will have the Decision Review System (DRS) from the get-go, promising fairer on-field battles.

To accommodate all participants, BPL teams are practicing at different venues this year, as the BCB academy ground alone wouldn't suffice. BKSP, a ground more than one and a half hours drive away, is also a venue for practice for a team.

BPL will kick off in Dhaka, then it will travel to Sylhet before coming back to Dhaka and then traveling to Chattogram. The final phase will be played in Dhaka again.

In the league phase, every team will take on each other in two matches. After that, the top two teams will take on each other in the first Qualifier match. Winners will advance to the final, and the loser will take on the winner of the Eliminator, which will be played between the top third and fourth teams, in the Qualifier 2. The final of this year's BPL will take place on March 1 in Dhaka's Mirpur.
