Salman F Rahman PM's honorary adviser

Salman Fazlur Rahman (Salman F Rahman) has been appointed as an honorary adviser to the prime minister. The notification was issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday.

According to the notification, Salman F Rahman will get the position of minister while holding the post of honorary adviser.

Salman F Rahman was elected Member of Parliament in Dhaka-1 (Dohar-Nawabganj) Constituency in the 12th National Parliament Election on January 7.
It should be mentioned that Salman F Rahman was elected Member of Parliament from Dhaka-1 (Dohar-Nawabganj) Constituency in the 11th national parliamentary election. He was appointed to the post of adviser on private industry and investment to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

On January 15, 2019, his appointment was honorary and while he was in office, he was informed by the Cabinet Division that he would enjoy the rank of minister. Prior to this, he was the adviser of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on private affairs sector.
