Banani Biswas thinks to be an MP from women reserve quota

Banani Biswas, coming from a family belonging to the political ideology of Awami League, has been working for years with a view to enhancing the life standard of backward community in the society.

Her father in law Rashik Lal Biswas belonged to Awami League in the district of Narail. After getting her married, she keeps carrying out her relentless activities in order mto move the backward community in right direction.

Banani knows that Jogendra Nath Mandal embarked upon his political journey as an independent candidate during the 1937 Indian provincial assembly elections. He contested the Bakharganj North East Rural constituency in the Bengal legislative assembly, securing victory over Saral Kumar Dutta, the president of the district committee of the Indian National Congress (INC) and nephew of Swadeshi leader Ashwini Kumar Dutta.

She also knows that Mandal collaborated with Ambedkar in establishing the Bengal branch of the Scheduled Castes Federation. This organization aspired to wield political influence. Mandal played a pivotal role in securing Ambedkar's election to the Constituent Assembly from Bengal in 1946 when Ambedkar faced challenges in securing a seat from Bombay. Mandal significantly contributed to the framing of the Constitution of India, with Ambedkar seeking his counsel through correspondence.

Banani's social reform activities and other political identity would bring back the basic right of deprived women community in the society. These factors must draw the attention of Awami League President and Prime Minister, together with other party high ups. From these realizations, she is thinking of getting elected parliament member from women reserved seats. As a result, she becomes one of the women nominees to be elected in the days to come.
