Controversial official Matiur Rahman has been promoted to the post of Acting Member of National Board of Revenue (NBR). This phenomenon has created hue and cry in the administrative arena because Matiur Rahman is infamous as a highly immoral functionary, reliable sources have informed.

Reportedly Matiur Rahman misuses the names of higher officials like Financial Institutions Division Secretary, Bangladesh Bank Governor, BSEC Chairman and thus he takes undue privileges from people. For this reason demands have come up from the concerned turf to check out Matiur Rahman's background thoroughly and to remove him from NBR without delay.
