Ekramul Haque Titu elected Mymensingh mayor second time
Ekramul Haque Titu once again won the mayoral post in the Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) election held on Saturday with a huge margin.
Titu with the electoral symbol 'Table Clock' bagged 1,39,608 votes while his nearest rival Sadekul Haque Khan got 35,763 votes with the symbol 'Elephant', according to unofficial results announced by the returning officer.
Three other candidates Ehtesamul Alam bagged 10,733 votes, Rezaul got 1,487 votes and Jatiyo Party candidate Shahidul Islam got 1,220 votes.
