Re-dredging of Bogura Karatoa river inaugurated

The project activities of the Karatoa river dredging, its bank protection under Shajahanpur upazila areas was inaugurated at Madla Bridge area under Shajahanpur upazila in Bogura on Wednesday noon.

Water Development Board of Bogura district office arranged the inauguration programme in the location.

The Member of the parliament of Bogura-7 (Gabtoli and Shajahanpur) constituency Dr Mostafa Alam Nannu inaugurated the project as the chief guest while Superintendent of Engineer (SE) of Water Development Board Engineer Md Ariful Islam.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Tahmida Akhtar, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shajahanpur police station Md Shahidul Islam, General Secretary of upazila unit Awami League Shahidur Rahman Arju, General Secretary of Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon(BAPA) Ziaur Rahman were present as special guests.

In the very programme, the representative of the construction farm "Amin and Co" Humayun Kabir, other officers of the government and non-government officers were also present simultaneously.
