Eid gifts distributed among one lakh families in Bhaluka

 
 In Bhaluka of Mymensingh, chairman candidate for the upcoming upazilaparishad election, treasurer of Bangladesh Awami League Mymensingh Unit, Hazi Rafiqul Islam (Hazi Rafiq) has distributed Eid gifts among poor and low-income people with his own funding.

In the presence of Awami League leaders in Uthura Union No. 1 of the upazila on April 1 (Monday) afternoon.

The Eid gift distribution program has started in the first batch among five thousand low-income people. On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid items will be gradually distributed among one lakh families at the stage of Eid gifts. Each bag of Eid gifts contained - one saree, one kg of pollau rice, two packets of semai, one kg of sugar and one bar of soap.

HaziRafiq said that Eid gifts will be distributed in each union of Bhaluka upazila. Today in 9 wards of Uthura Union of Upazila, about five thousand family members have been delivered Eid gift bags.

The Eid gift distribution ceremony was attended among others by the brave freedom fighter Gazi Lal Mamud Sarkar commander, the brave freedom fighter Shahjahan Chowdhury, Farhad Chowdhury, Dr Farooq, along with Prof Julhas Uddin, leaders and workers of affiliated organizations of Awami League.
