Infinix NOTE 40 Pro: Good phone with magnetic charging tech
The recently launched Infinix NOTE 40 Pro has garnered significant attention in the local market. This smartphone offers a blend of innovative features and built to offer a premium design with super-fast charging speed. But in the crowded mid-range budget segment, it goes up against a tough competition. Let's dive in and see how the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro stacks up against its rivals considering its affordability.

Innovative Charging Capabilities

The Infinix NOTE 40 Pro introduces MagCharge technology for the first time on Android. It features a 5,000 mAh battery and rapid 70W wired charging, along with convenient 20W wireless charging. Bundled with the Infinix MagKit, users get a MagCase and MagPower, enabling on-the-go charging. Users can efficiently charge their devices with the MagKit without the need for additional accessories or cables.

With All-Round FastCharge 2.0, powered by Infinix's Cheetah X1 chipset, energy efficiency is well optimized for extended endurance. It can charge up to 50% in 16 minutes using hyper charging mood. Additional features include wired and wireless reverse charging, which offers more convenient charging solutions for devices that support wireless charging.

Powerful Processor

The NOTE 40 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Users can run multiple apps simultaneously and do all the regular work seamlessly, experiencing no lag. To prevent overheating during intensive use, the smartphone employs vapor chamber (VC) liquid cooling technology to dissipate heat. The Infinix NOTE 40 Pro runs XOS 14, based on Android 14. But Infinix is providing two years of major software updates and three years of security patches for the device.
Premium Design and Strong Build

Infinix's skyscraper metalline finish and sleek design language in the NOTE 40 Pro include a 3D curved display with minimal bezels. The device features a leather back panel for a premium feel and added grip, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass against scratches and cracks. Its rear camera module is designed to prevent wobbling and includes an AI Active Halo Lighting feature for a personalized touch. With its well-distributed weight and slim profile, the device feels solid and sturdy while remaining easy to carry.
