Daudkandi land office ensuring smart land services

 
Daudkandi upazila land office of Cumilla has secured the first position in the district through 100% digital land service.

Led by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Ziaur Rahman, Daudkandi upazila digital land service program has kicked off with the theme 'Ministry of Land in Smart Land Service'.

Under his leadership, Daudkandi has now become the country's model and smart upazila in terms of land services. People here are also very happy getting land services easily.

It has been learnt that AC Land Md Ziaur Rahman has been serving as Daudkandi Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) since July 24, 2022. Under his leadership, the upazila land office managed to achieve 100% success in the recovery of government Khas land in the upazila, settle local disputes about land and provide land services with transparency, simplification, mutation (e-Namjari).

Apart from all this, he has won the praise of Daudkandi residents by conducting mobile court, anti-adulteration campaign, illegal dredging of land, environmental protection campaign, prevention of child marriage and eviction, regular inspection of union land office.

It is mentionable that the upazila's union land office activities are being disrupted due to manpower shortage.

Despite manpower crisis, AC Land Md Ziaur Rahman is working tirelessly to solve all kinds of problems including land development and complications.
According to the data, the average settlement time in Daudkandi upazila is 10 days, which is the lowest among the 17 upazilas of Cumilla district.

While talking AC Land Md Ziaur Rahman, he said, "We are determined to ensure people-friendly public services. All measures have been taken to ensure that not a single person suffers. However, it is not possible to provide all kinds of services to the people due to manpower shortage in the upazila union office."

 "We always strive to provide the highest level of service. At the directive of Cumilla Deputy Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), we are determined to provide land services and advice on land matters to the people as soon as possible in the legally prescribed time and manner.

Daudkandi people are now reaping the benefits of online/smart land management", the AC land added.
