Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, was awarded the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER), Oxford University Honorary Fellowship in the United Kingdom recently.     -AA

Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh has been awarded the Honorary Fellowship by the UK Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER), Oxford University. He received this honor in appreciation of his outstanding national and international contributions to maritime issues. The award was presented during the 13th International Conference on "Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE): Promoting Sustainability," organized by CBER, which took place on August 5-6, 2024, at Oxford University, England. At the conference, he also delivered a keynote paper titled "Sustainable Ocean Economy: Bangladesh's Journey on the Roadmap to a Blue Economy".

The CBER, Oxford University Honorary Fellowship is set to significantly elevate the international profile of both Rear Admiral Musa and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University.

 
This esteemed award will facilitate engagement in global seminars, research presentations and high-impact publications, enhancing the global reputation of both the institution and Bangladesh. It is remarkable that Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa is an alumni of the Royal College of Defence Studies and King's College, UK.
