Rezaul Karim made new BPDB Chairman

 
Engineer Md. Rezaul Karim is all set to take over the post of Chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) from 1 September 2024 (Sunday). A gazette notification issued on 22 August 2024 named Engineer Md. Rezaul Karim as the new BPDB Chairman.

Engineer Md. Rezaul Karim replaces his predecessor Engineer Md. Mahbubur Rahman.

Md. Rezaul Karim was born on 7 June 1967 in Bogura district. He completed BSC in Engineering (Electronics) from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology in 1989. He joined BPDB as an Assistant Engineer at Khulna office on 17 August 1991. Md. Rezaul Karim held posts of Sub Divisional Engineer, Executive Engineer and Superintendent Engineer at the same workplace. Md. Rezaul Karim visited Czech Republic, China, United Arab Emirates, India, United States of America and Australia for attending conferences, workshops and training programs.

In his personal life Md. Rezaul Karim is married and blessed with one son and one daughter.
