Demra Thana OC unresponsive to lodge case against extortionists

An extortionist is someone who practices extortion-the act of using violence, threats, intimidation, or pressure from one's authority to force someone to hand over money and something else of value and at preset the hole country is under such criminal activities to some extent. .

Under such situation, a group of eight extortionists on a broad day light committed violence and took forcefully commercial commodities and money from a business house on August 31, 2024 at Signboard area under Demra police station in the capital but the specific charge against those extortionists brought in the concerned police station to take necessary measures.

Te complainant Md. Hafizullah Kabir tried to submit the written charge in the police station with a hope of recovery of his looted commercial goods and cash despite so Demra police station OC Elias and related Sub-inspector Abbas Kabi Chowdhury remain unresponsive regarding the issue.

In his write application the list criminals are Md. Habibur Rahman Khan, Md. Shahrul, Md, Prokash, Lovlu, Mamun Hazari, Iqbal Hossain, Md. Ranju Mia and Md. Sheikh Janip.
