Chief of Staff of Bangladesh Army General Waker Uz Zaman inspected Gouripur Army Camp on Friday and gave required directives and guidelines to all army officers and troops over there. -ISPR
Chief of Army Staff General Waker Uz Zaman visited the army camp set up by 403 Battle Group at Gouripur in Mymensingh district on Friday.
During his visit, General Waker Uz Zaman interacted with army officers and soldiers of all ranks and files on duty at Gouripur Army Camp and gave them necessary guidelines and instructions.
According to a press release by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief was briefed about the overall situation and security arrangements at Bhaluka Trishal Industrial Area in Mymensingh.
In addition, General Waker Uz Zaman also exchanged views with the officials of the Civil Administration and Bangladesh Police regarding the recovery of weapons by the joint forces, security arrangements for 841 puja mandaps of the Hindu devotees on the upcoming occasion of Durga Puja and the current situation and activities of the police personnel in the police stations.
Senior army officers, Divisional Commissioner of Mymensingh and senior officials of the local administration were present at the event.
