BGB holds free medical camp in Thakurgaon
 
The 50th Border Guard Battalion (BGB) organized a day-long free medical camp in Thakurgaon to ensure the health and safety of the people in the border areas.

This free medical camp was held on Wednesday morning at the Geruadangi Government Primary School ground under Haripur Upazila."

Later, an awareness meeting was held with the aim of reducing border-related crimes to zero.

This camp was inaugurated by BGB Thakurgaon's Sector Commander, Colonel Muhammad Touhidur Rahman.

Lieutenant Colonel Tanvir Ahmed, the Commanding Officer of the 50th BGB Thakurgaon, along with others, were present at the event.

Free medical treatment for various diseases was provided to more than 400 women, children, and elderly people at the medical camp.

Later, in a number of significant presentations at a meeting were made on behalf of the BGB with the aim of reducing border crimes such as border killings, illegal entrance, trafficking of women and children, and smuggling of drugs-down to zero.
