Salman Omar Rubel...a people-friendly BNP leader in Haluaghat

 
Salman Omar Rubel, manager of Board of Directors Umar Foundation and a social reformer, always stands beside the helpless people as his main motto of life is to help the destitute of the society.

He has earned huge popularity among the youths of Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh. 

Salman Omar Rubel, a senior member of Mymensingh North BNP convening committee, has been a devoted worker from his student life. He has widely bee praised as a philanthropist among the local people especially among youths.

It has been learnt that Salman Umar Rubel has been helping the needy people through Omar Foundation. During Covid-19 pandemic, service centers were opened all the time including home delivery of food. Apart from this, Omar Foundation has been running eye camp every year for eye surgery for patients with eye problems, and has continued various programs including distribution of wheel chairs for helpless physically disabled people.

During the recent floods, Salman Umar Rubel came to the fore by extending financial support to thousands of poor and ordinary people and helping to rehabilitate the victims after receding flood water.

While talking to Aktar Hossain Sarker, senior joint convener of Haluaghat Upazila Jubo Dal, he said, "Salman Omar Rubel always tries to help the needy and destitute people. He doesn't do politics for his own interest. He is a man with clean image for whom we feel proud."
While talking to local people and party workers, they said, Salman Omar Rubel is a man with good heart. He always stands by the people during their hard times.

When Salman Omar Rubel was asked about his political aspirations, he said, "I want to work for underprivileged people of the society and fight for their rights."

When he was asked about his plan to contest in the upcoming national election, he said, "I know people love me and want to see me as their representative. If the party selects me for contesting from this constituency, I won't let the party down."
