Actress Moon Moon Sen's husband Bharat Dev Varma passes away

Bharat Dev Varma, the husband of actress Moon Moon Sen, passed away on Tuesday. He died of a heart attack this morning. He reportedly died before reaching the hospital.

Bharat Dev Varma is the son of the royal family of Tripura. He married Moon Moon Sen in 1978. They were together for 46 years. He was the father of actresses Raima and Riya Sen.

Moon Moon Sen told once in an interview about her husband that Bharat has always supported her. She used to affectionately call her husband 'Habi.' It wasn't just her husband. He was truly a friend.

Suchitra Sen chose her only daughter Munmun for Bharat. The great actress herself had imposed the condition that Moon Moon could not do films after marriage. But she didn't listen to that. It is heard that the mother and daughter had stopped talking for one and a half years due to this. But he was always there as a friend.

According to sources, the condition of Bharat Dev Varma suddenly deteriorated this morning. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kolkata. But before reaching there, Bharat breathed his last.
