Inqilab Mancha submitted a memorandum to the Indian High Commission located in the diplomatic zone of Baridhara, Dhaka.
On Friday evening, three representatives from the group were escorted to the Indian High Commission premises with the assistance of the police. After submitting the memorandum, they departed.
The memorandum protested against incidents such as the "attack and vandalism at the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala," "persecution of minority communities in India," and "attempts to displace the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, citing claims of a Shiva temple beneath it."
Gulshan Division Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Tarek Mahmud Shanto said: "A peaceful rally was organized by Inqilab Mancha, following which their representatives submitted a memorandum. As a precautionary measure, additional security personnel were deployed, and no untoward incidents occurred."
