JUB stages protests against CEO of Ekhon TV, Bogura reporter

 
Journalists Union of Bogura (JUB), a leading organization for Bogura journalists, staged a human chain at Shatmatha in Bogura on Tuesday afternoon protesting the anti-state activities of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ekhon TV channel Tushar Abdullah and its Bogura reporter Majed Rahman.

The President of JUB, Bogura, Senior Journalist Gonesh Das presided over the whole programme while the Convener of Ad-hoc committee of Bogura Press Club and Senior most Journalist of Bogura and Managing Editor of The Daily Karatoa Wasiqur Rahman Becan was present as the chief guest in the human chain and Join-Secretary of JUB, Bogura, Journalist Abdul Wadud conducted the programme.

Speakers were Executive Committee member of BFUJ central committee Mirza Selim Reza, Former president of JUB Motiul Islam Saadi, General Secretary of JUB, Bogura and Senior Reporter of Ekattor TV SM Abu Sayeed, Joint-Convener of Bogura Press Cub and Senior Reporter of Daily Nayadiganta Abul Kalam Azad, President of Sports Journalists Association Mostafa Moughal, President of Photo Journalist Association Abdur Rahim, Organising Secretary of JUB Saiful Islam, Treasurer of JUB Ferdousur Rahman, Office Secretary Shamim Ahmed, Protik Omar, Mahfuz Mondal and Harunur Rashid and others.

Speakers alleged that the cohort of Fascist Sheikh Hasina and the CEO of Ekhon TV Tushar Abdullaha and its Bogura Reporter Majed Rahman had been conducting anti-state activities in Bogura and have been conspiring against the Journalists of JUB.

They also demanded soon arrest of Tushar Abdullah and Majed Rahman soon and discharge them from Ekhon TV within 48 hours.
