ShahriarNazim Joy Adds Another Prestigious Award to His Legacy
The Television Reporters Association of Bangladesh (TRAB) Awards 2025 took place at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. Recognized as one of the most prestigious honors for Bangladeshi cultural figures, the TRAB Awards celebrate excellence in various artistic fields, including acting, directing, singing, and other cultural contributions. Each year, TRAB acknowledges the outstanding performances in drama, film, and OTT, honoring the most deserving individuals based on their work from the previous year.
This year, renowned Bangladeshi actor ShahriarNazim Joy was awarded Best Actor (OTT) for his exceptional performance in the critically acclaimed web series Tribhuj, solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in Bangladesh’s entertainment industry.
The prestigious event also honored legendary figures in the entertainment industry, with Lifetime Achievement Awards presented to Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Ujjal, MishaSawdagar, and actress Anwara Begum for their invaluable contributions to Bangladeshi cinema.
ShahriarNazim Joy has been a dominant force in the entertainment industry since 1997, performing in nearly 2,000 television dramas and earning widespread recognition. His transition to OTT platforms has further solidified his reputation, with stellar performances in 7 Number Floor, Guti, 840, and Pap Kahini. His ability to adapt to evolving media landscapes has made him one of the most celebrated actors in Bangladesh.
