Shahed Sharif Khan honored with Best Supporting Actor award

The award was presented to Shahed Sharif Khan by legendary actress Anwara Begum, the chief guest of the evening. Special guest Tashiq Ahmed, Broadcast and Program Advisor of ATN Bangla, also graced the event. The ceremony was presided over by Abul Hossain Mazumdar, creating a memorable evening for all attendees.

Upon receiving the award, Shahed Sharif Khan expressed his heartfelt gratitude: “This recognition means a lot to me. It validates the hard work and love I pour into every role I play. I am truly thankful to the organizers and my audience for their continuous support.”

In addition to Shahed Sharif Khan, many other artists were honored across different categories. The BABISAS 2023–24 Lifetime Achievement Awards were bestowed upon film legends Anwara Begum and Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Ujjal, while Ferdous Ara was recognized for her outstanding contributions to music.

Special honors were also awarded to prominent film personalities including Rozina, Rubel, and Tashiq Ahmed. Other recipients included D.A. Tayeb, Mamunur Rashid Imon, Nirab Hossain, Joy Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, Shiba Sanu, Rashed Mamun Apu, Shahriar Nazim Joy, Naznin Hasan Khan, Md. Fahad, Golam Kibria Tanvir, Romana Islam Mukti, Shabnam Bubly, Shabnam Parveen, Arpana Rani Rajbanshi, and Bobby Haque, among others.
