Ananda TV DNE sacked for extortion, women scandal

Prasanto Kumar Das, deputy news editor (DNE) of Ananda Television, has been sacked over his involvement in extortion and women scandal.
The management of Ananda TV made this decision on Thursday morning (April 10, 2025).

As all the allegations against him were proven true, he accepted the decision taken by the authorities and left the Ananda TV building with his personal belongings. In this regard, the authorities of Ananda TV said that strict action will be taken against all the representatives who are found to be involved with the corruption of Prasanto Kumar Das.
