BARD holds two month basic training for doctors

The two-month long 183rd and 184th special basic training courses organised for BCS (health) cadre officers inaugurated at Bangladesh Academy of Rural Development in Cumilla on Sunday.

Dr Md Joynal Abedin Tito, line director of Directorate General of Health Services, presided over the inaugural ceremony. Speaking at the training course, Dr Md Joynal Abedin Tito said, "There is no alternative to training in developing skilled human resources.He urged the doctors to stand by the common people with health services as they are directly engaged in citizen service. Mentioning the importance of basic training course, he said that from the course, government officials got the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about rules and regulations, and financial rules and regulations.

He added, "The trainees also get a proper idea about what to do for the people as government officials and their own availability."

BARD Director (Training) Abdullah Al Mamun introduced the trainees to BARD and informed them about the overall subject of the course.
