Training on agroecology held in Cumilla
A two-daylong training program on agroecology was held in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla district recently.
At the initiative of Community Enterprise and Agroecology for Climate Action Network (CEA CAN), the training was held at the training center of Shishu Shasthya Unnayan Karjokrom in the upazila.
A total of 25 female farmers from 17 upazilas of the district took part in the training program.
Shahnaj Arefin, adviser of SHISUK, addressed at the closing ceremony of the training workshop.
SHISUK Executive Driector Sakiul Millat Morshed, Cumilla BARD Joint Director Md Abu Taleb spoke on the occasion.
CEA CAN network was established with the collaboration of Cumilla BARD and SHISUK with NGOs from 17 upazilas of Cumilla district.
