TheAsian Development Bank (ADB) recently released the 2025 Basic Statistics, whichcontain data on key economic indicators for Asian countries. The ADB hascalculated the GDPs of 46 nations; however, Japan is not included in the list.
Accordingto ADB statistics, Bangladesh is now the largest economy in South Asia afterIndia, making it the second-largest economy in South Asia.
China,India, South Korea, Indonesia, Taipei, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippineshave larger economies than Bangladesh.
Chinahas the largest economy in Asia, with a GDP of $18,965 billion. India's GDPstands at $3,914 billion, and South Korea's GDP is $1,869.5 billion.
Inaddition, Indonesia's GDP is $13,963 billion, Taipei's GDP is $7,959 billion,Thailand's is $5,405 billion, Vietnam's is $4,763 billion, and the Philippines'is $4,614 billion.
