Ahmed Pipul Honored with Best Journalist Award
Ahmed Pipul received the Jury Award in the Best Journalist category for his exceptional achievements and impactful journalism in the Bangladesh media landscape. The award was presented by ATN Bangla, the media partner for the event, under the leadership of BABISAS President Abul Hossain Mojumder and General Secretary Rashid Newton.
Upon receiving the award, Ahmed Pipul expressed his gratitude: “Being honored by BABISAS with this prestigious recognition reaffirms my lifelong commitment to truth and responsible journalism. I dedicate this award to the people whose stories I’ve had the privilege to tell.”
The event also celebrated numerous other distinguished figures in film, music, and television. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to cultural icons Anwara Begum and Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Ujjal, while noted singer FerdousAra was recognized for her contribution to the music industry.
Other honorees at the BABISAS 2023–24 ceremony included prominent names like Rozina, Rubel, D.A. Tayeb, Mamunur Rashid Imon, Joy Chowdhury, ShabnamBubly, RashedMamunApu, ShahriarNazim Joy, and Bobby Haque, among many others—making it a memorable evening celebrating the nation's finest talents.
