Ansar-VDP launches programs to speed up grassroots people's welfare

Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud inspected different Ansar-VDP units in Shariatpur and Madaripur districts on Tuesday (13 May 2025).

Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud illustrated the significance of social welfare programs called "Prantik Shakti" and "Sanjeeban Project" which are being implemented for the welfare of people belonging to the grassroots throughout Bangladesh. These two beneficial programs are focused on generating better livelihoods for people living across rural Bangladesh. Ansar Welfare Trust and Ansar-VDP Bank are providing financial support for these two programs.

The proper materialization of the above two projects by Ansar-VDP personnel will drive Bangladesh forward in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud gave necessary directives and guidelines to Ansar-VDP officers and troops during his speech at Shariatpur and Madaripur.

Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud instructed all Ansar-VDP members to participate in rebuilding the new Bangladesh in the wake of the Glorious July Revolution 2024.
