No auto passes under any circumstances

Professor ASM Amanullah, Vice Chancellor of National University has said that his university will provide no facilities at all for auto passes to students under any circumstances.

Professor ASM Amanullah's office at the National University came under attack by unruly students on Wednesday. Later on Professor ASM Amanullah posted the above firm statement on Facebook on Wednesday evening. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Public Relations Director in Charge of National University has informed journalists about the attack launched by violent students on the VC office demanding auto passes privileges.  According to Md. Mostafizur Rahman, failed students of Bachelor Pass Course 2022 participated in the violence which caused injuries to VC Professor ASM Amanullah's legs on 21 May 2025.

Professor ASM Amanullah wrote on Facebook that National University controls 70 percent of Bangladesh's higher educational classes and exams. National University can no way issue auto pass certificates to students, Professor ASM Amanullah added. He instructed all students to work hard to succeed in exams through due procedure.

A lot of people commented on Professor ASM Amanullah's Facebook post with appreciation and compliments. National University was established in 1992. At present 34 lakh 25 thousand 832 pupils study in 2 thousand 257 colleges and institutes regulated by National University.
