Army provides free treatments to 1,493 patients in Sirajganj

As part of its ongoing humanitarian initiative, the Bangladesh Army organised a free medical camp on Monday at Kazipur upazila of Sirajganj district, offering vital healthcare services to local residents.

provided to 1,493 local patients at this medical camp organised at Kazipur Government Mansur Ali College premises this morning.

Lieutenant Colonel Anwar Parvez Bhuiyan said the 1,493 people from surrounding areas received free medical consultations and medicines from the camp under the management of 40 Field Regiment Artillery of 11 Infantry Division of Bogura Cantonment.

Six specialist doctors from various disciplines including general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and ophthalmology were present to provide healthcare services and ensure comprehensive treatment for the patients. About 51 types of medicines were provided free of cost to the patients at the medical camp.
