BRAC Bank MD submits resignation

Selim RF Hossain, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BRAC Bank, has submitted resignation to the bank's Board of Directors showing personal reasons. BRAC Bank authorities have sent Selim RF Hossain's resignation letter to Bangladesh Bank for further procedure.

Selim RF Hossain told journalists on Tuesday that he has resigned and his resignation has been accepted by the bank's top management. Selim RF Hossain said that he is under no pressure from any corner and he decided to quit on personal grounds.

In the resignation letter, Selim RF Hossain conveyed appreciation and gratefulness to his colleagues in BRAC Bank for cooperating with him during his service tenure spanning almost ten years.
