Progressive Life Insurance holds AGM
The 21st to24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Progressive Life Insurance CompanyLimited, a publicly listed company in the capital market, was held on Sunday,June 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh(IDEB) in Kakrail, Dhaka.
The meeting waschaired by the company’s Vice Chairman, Bajloor Rashid MBE. Among the attendeeswere company directors Mezanur Rahman, Gulam Mostafa Ahmed, Zakariya Ahad,Kamal Miah, as well as nominated directors Abdus Shakur Chowdhury , Zahurul SyedBakht CPA, CMA, FCMand Md. JamilSharif, PhD, FCMA—an independent director. The company’s Chief ExecutiveOfficer MD Saidul Amin, Chief Financial Officer Sakhawat Hossain, and othersenior officials were also present.
The meeting,conducted by Company Secretary Abdullah Al Mansur, saw a large turnout ofenthusiastic investors.
Duringthe AGM, the audited financial statements and overall operational activities ofthe company for the fiscal years 2020 to 2023 were discussed in detail.Following the discussions, all proposed agendas were unanimously approved bythe shareholders. The proposal to declare a 2.5% cash dividend for the 2020fiscal year was also approved at the meeting
