Railway authorities urge all to help prevent accidents

Railway authorities have requested everyone concerned to be alert and extend cooperation with a view to avoiding train accidents. Railway Ministry's Senior Information officer (PRO) Rezaul Karim Siddique informed it yesterday through a press release.

It is further said through the press release that recently several trains on different routes have derailed and fallen into accidents. Due to early warning and immediate action, it has been possible to avoid loss of life and properties. Already separate investigation committees have been formed to unearth the cause of each accident. After getting the investigation reports, legal action must be taken against those responsible behind the incidents, the press release added.
