Promoted Ansar-VDP officers adorned with rank badges

Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud adorned 15 (fifteen) Ansar-VDP officers with the ranks and badges of Deputy Directors following their promotions, according to a press release received from Ansar-VDP Headquarters on 6 August 2025.

The promoted officers are Md. Joynal Abedin, SM Shariful Islam, Md. Rezaul Islam, Md. Abdul Alim, Md. Kamrul Islam, Mohammad Kamrul Islam, Muhammad Emranul Haque, SM Rayhan Helal, Ujjal Banerjee, Md. Siddiqur Rahman Khan, Mohammad Azharul Huda, Mohammad Rayhan Uddin Fakir, SM Akteruzzaman, Mohammad Rakib Uddin and Mohammad Jashim Uddin.

Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud expressed firm hope that the promoted Ansar-VDP officers will be working with deeper patriotism and broader professional dedication to work for Bangladesh and also for upgrading the all out service quality of Ansar-VDP.

Ansar-VDP Additional Director General Brigadier General Fida Mahmud and Deputy Director Generals were present on the occasion. Ansar-VDP high-ups greeted the newly promoted Deputy Directors with flowers, the press release concludes.
